Alexander VESNIN

Alexander Vesnin was a Russian architect, painter and theatre designer, and one of the leading figures of Constructivist architecture together with his brothers Leonid and Viktor. He is best known for ambitious, never-realized projects such as the Palace of Labour and his perspectival design for the Leningrad Pravda building. Vesnin also worked extensively in stage and costume design, collaborating with Lyubov Popova on productions for Alexander Tairov's Kamerny Theatre.
