Provenance: - Until 2010: part of collection the Gera Kocen Collection, Riga, Latvia. His collection was gathered for over 40 years, during which time he looked for and bought works in the Baltic countries, France, Germany and Sweden. Many of works were bought from small auctions in Europe, antiquity shops and private collections. He unexpectedly passed away in October 2013. - 2010: purchased from above by Shchukin Collection, Paris-Tallinn.
