He was given his own office where, by the account of witnesses, young artist, students, assistants, and his circle of friends and followers of Kazi- mir Malevich, were several works that Malevich painted in that period. The works were bought by his collec- tor friends, among who was Krapivnitsky’s close friend who also assisted Kazimir Malevich. Krapivnitsky was Malevich’s assistant in 1929-1930. He subsequently headed Malevich’s office at the Art Insti- tute in Kiev. Krapivnitsky and his wife were acquainted with Costakis, Rubinstein and Kachurin and collected Russian Avant-garde in the 1950-70’s.
